Bluetooth connectivity for App
Bluetooth connectivity for App
Is there any way to have the App connect via bluetooth instead of WiFi. Many venues have terrible wi fi and I often lose connection. I want to be able to bring up the app on an iPad, and let people sign up for there songs through that instead of using a book and have them coming to me.

no, sorry
you can create an ad-hoc network, use that. or bring your own wifi router

If you are on a Mac, just set up an ad hoc network. Then you are not reliant on the venue's Wi-Fi. (You do lose internet access, though, unless you have a separate NIC.)

Why not just buy a $20-30 WiFi router and bring it to the venue for your shows?

I use a portable router Dlink. Bought from walmart. Create a new wifi, name karaoke. Works perfect with 3-4ipads

While I'm back here, another option would be to get a better router, or a WiFi extender, bring it with you, and with the venue's permission, bridge to it, either via wifi or via ethernet.
Then you will get their internet access but have the much stronger networking signal from your own router.
