Choice of audio output...

Is kJams missing a feature you need? Post it here! Note: if iTunes has it but kJams doesn't, it's a good bet kJams will have it, but that I just haven't gotten around to it yet. But go ahead and request it anyway!

Choice of audio output...

Post by kmachman »

Not sure how big of undertaking it would be, but it would be great to be able to choose which audio interface you wanted the audio to go through… Separately from the default of the computer…

Just a somewhat related and useful trick. If you ⌥ click the menubar volume control, you can quickly switch input and output devices without launching System Preferences.

that works for kJams only if you've got "System Default" selected in the kJams audio prefs

Sure. Just pointing it out as a useful trick, especially if you use Apple TV, since it has an annoying trait of hijacking your audio out whenever you connect to it!
Another is to use Audio MIDI Set Up to group multiple outputs together, to send a signal to more than one output device at a time.
