⌘ 6 topping Video Window

Is kJams missing a feature you need? Post it here! Note: if iTunes has it but kJams doesn't, it's a good bet kJams will have it, but that I just haven't gotten around to it yet. But go ahead and request it anyway!

⌘ 6 topping Video Window

Post by DeusExMachina »

Mentioned once before (unofficially):
Hitting ⌘ 6 when the Video window is covered by other windows should top it, not close it. Not only does this behavior not make any sense, but in most cases is an inconvenience. Typical scenario where you would use ⌘ 6 (and really the only one in a professional environment) is when you first start up, to top the window in order to drag it to the second monitor (since kJams always starts with the video window (small) hidden behind the main window.
As it is now, you have to hit ⌘ 6 twice (once to close it, and again to reopen and top it). It should really just top itself on ⌘ 6 if it is open and hidden or obscured. It should only close it if it is the top-most window, IMO.
(One fewer chore on start up!)
