Key

Is kJams missing a feature you need? Post it here! Note: if iTunes has it but kJams doesn't, it's a good bet kJams will have it, but that I just haven't gotten around to it yet. But go ahead and request it anyway!

Key

Post by SwampTrax »

I would like for KJAMS to tell me what Key the mp3 is in. Not sure if this is technically possible. But it is something some Karaoke singers need to know, especially if they want to strum along withe the tune, which I do sometimes.

It's not technically possible for the computer to figure that out (not without a lot of extra code that i currently don't have). but a human can do it, then you can label the key yourself, by showing the "Key" sort column, then editing the key.

OK. I musta missed that somehow. But thanks for cluing me in. That is good enough. Me and Gibson can figure out the keys and put them in. It'll take a while for 500+ tunes, but it is doable. Thank you!
