Exporting zip files?

Is kJams missing a feature you need? Post it here! Note: if iTunes has it but kJams doesn't, it's a good bet kJams will have it, but that I just haven't gotten around to it yet. But go ahead and request it anyway!

Exporting zip files?

Post by leo-magic »

Hello!

I want to load my karaoke songs on my iPhone for using them on the go with karaokeAnywhere.
Now, the app need the songs to be zip files named "Artist - Songname"

Can I export a playlist from kJams so that also "unzipped" files are zipped and named correctly?

Thanks!
Leo

go to prefs->exporting
set "export name template" to "R - S"
then export, "flat", the song names will come out as you expect

currently the only way to zip up unzipped files is to "re-encode" them with "advanced->convert selection to..."
after they're converted (and zipped), you can export as normal
make sure you have "zip files when ripping" turned on in the prefs first!
