Search field persistence

Is kJams missing a feature you need? Post it here! Note: if iTunes has it but kJams doesn't, it's a good bet kJams will have it, but that I just haven't gotten around to it yet. But go ahead and request it anyway!

Search field persistence

As I was searching for songs in my Library and then in the Music Stores I found that each time I changed locations (Library, Karaoke Locker, TriceraSoft) I had to retype my search criteria. Is there any way that the search field can be retained when moving between different areas of kJams but not actually perform the search until you click the Search button?

no, if you keep the search term, it will always perform the search.
type your search, then select all and copy.
then when you switch playlists, command f, command v, to find and paste your previous search
