CDG video not updating

if you quit and run again, does it still happen?
only with one song? all songs? after a specific set of steps?
how can i reproduce it?

Disapeared after restart.
Can't make it happen again :/

I get it to happen now, by pausing (not stopping) a song, then double clicking an other song to play, after 2-3 times it starts lagging.
Also combined with Getting stuck at quitting with "Aborting background activities" for long ...

Actually, quiting when song is just on pause gets stuck on Saving data base. Maybe other issue but the pausing is somehow involved in this.

And it's tricky since the difference between pause and stop is not that obvious if you don't look for it. ...since the video is gone,

Just my feedback..

For fun, we had a block party and I ran Kjams 2 macOS v.42b. (That is all I could do on a MacBook Pro 16in w/Big Sur + external HDMI to TV). Mostly worked, but we experienced this exact problem with CDG lagging & freezing in the middle of songs. I was NOT doing any kind of professional gig, just sharing with our neighbors on the street, so ....well lets just say I was imbibing with everybody else, so my attempts at any troubleshooting were "minimal". (Mostly we just mulled through it....but I did have to reboot once). But the freezing/lagging happened about 5 or 6 times with different singer's songs, and those same songs CDG play fine on my MacMini x32bit version of K-Jams 2 with HDMI 2nd monitor to TV.

Just some additional data-points.... If you have some specific steps/test process you'd like me to check, I can do that....

Doesit happenfor you if you never use pause, only stop?
