I am testing using Catalina on a dual-boot MacBook Pro (normally run using Mojave).
I installed KJAMS Pro which converted a copy of my music library to SQL. I then entered my KJAMS license key (once I had located it in my old emails and now saved safely for future reference).
Then I continued to load music streams/stores into KJAMS. At the end I noticed the message "removing duplicate purchases" or something like this when KJAMS crashed.
When I relaunched KJAMS it repeated some of the music stream downloads until "Adding songs to Party Time Pro streaming" followed by "Sorting by
Purchase code, please wait..." when it just hung and the progress bar didn't even get started.
I saved the crash log from the crash as a text file but I don't appear to be able to attach it here?
After several minutes I used force exit and skipped the music stream down loads next time I ran KJAMS.
Crash after loading music stores
Re: Crash after loading music stores
do this:
- quit kjams
- in the finder, trash Songs.ksql and its backups
- run kjams 32bit
- update all the music stores, wait for all activities to complete (show the activity window)
- quit
- run kjams 64bit
Re: Crash after loading music stores
I followed these steps and everything worked up until it reached "Sorting by Purchase code" I have left it running but it appears to have stuck at the same point.
Please note conditions for my original test: I don't normally have music stores enabled but the default preference changed to 'enabled' when I installed the 64bit version.
After the first crash I disabled music stores.
I followed your steps and everything appeared fine. I then changed preferences to enable music stores.
All streams downloaded successfully until the above step where KJAMS appears to have hung.
(please note I will be away for about two hours and I will check in again later).
Activity Monitor - Only Idle-Wake Ups appear to be increasing.

Re: Crash after loading music stores
can you please re-send your library after step 5 above? (before step 6). Be sure to turn on all music stores.

Is this problem still happening? I finally got time to look at it and i think i know what's wrong, OR it is fixed.
Re: Crash after loading music stores
Resolved. I've already updated to KJAMS Pro 1.1b40.
1. I disable music stores.
2. Closed KJAMS
3. Opened KJAMS and enabled music stores.
4. Closed KJAMS
5. Opened KJAMS was prompted to download first music store.
6. Clicked DOWNLOAD and waited for it to finish before Downloading the second music store.
7. I clicked DOWNLOAD on the third music store before the second store had finished.
All steps completed successfully.

Re: Crash after loading music stores
just to confirm: you're saying that the problem is resolved?
next test:
try again, but on step 5,6,7, click OK on all the stores at once so they're all downloading simultaneously.
