I wanted to do a quick test to make sure I could still use the old kJams with the same database:
Sunday May 23
10:30 am Installed kJams 2 Alpha on my Catalina machine, played a song and tried to quit.
While waiting for it to quit, I renamed kJams 2 to kJams 2 old on my SSD and copied the new kJams 2 there
10:59 am After “Aborting background activities" for a half-hour, force quit kJams 2.
Rebooted to Mojave SSD which started kJams 2 alpha.
I immediately quit it and restarted it.
I noticed that the song I played from Catalina was marked as last played today.
11:08 am I started playing that song and paused it, then tried to quit kJams 2 alpha.
Had to force-quit kJams
11:15 am Opened the old kJams. It had an update, which I had to be careful to rename.
Old kJams didn’t show that the song I played was played today.
Old kJams played that song.
Had to force-quit
Re: Had to force-quit
best if you can give me a step by step recipe for reproducing the problem. anecdotal activity logs are interesting, but what helps most is having a method to create the issue locally!

Yeah, I know how hard it is to reproduce errors that users can't reproduce.
And I can't reproduce that.
And I can't reproduce that.
Re: Had to force-quit
please don't report things that you can't reproduce, thanks!
