Keeping the Wi-Fi Connection on an iPhone

Post by Karanight »

Is there a way to keep an iPhone logged in so when a user goes to settings and chooses the Wi-Fi thats been created from a Mac and the phone's then turned off for a while, then the iPhones turned back on, the Wi-Fi thats been created from the Mac is still the selected Wi-Fi

Len,
Did you ever get an answer or solution to this issue? We use a MacBook Pro 13 Mid 2010 model with Snow Leopard, using the Ad-Hoc network (cause there's no access to venue's WiFi) and experience this issue ALL the time. wtKJams does not like this, sometimes crashing 30+ times a night on my iPad. Kinda embarrassing. I was thinking it was a Mac OS/iOS issue as it happens on my iPhone 4s & iPod Touch 4. The iOS devices are running iOS v5 but it happens on iOS v6 too.
Kind regards,
Anita & Mark
