iJams on a Blackberry
iJams on a Blackberry
I've tried to download ijams to my Blackberry and each time I'm told I need iTunes but when I try to download Itunes i just seem to go around in circles. Can it be done on a Blackberry
Re: iJams on a Blackberry
iJams is an iPhone app, you silly goose.
if your blackberry has WIFI, just connect to the LAN and use your web browser instead.

Damn! I thought I'd seen on the forum that it had now been written for other smart-phones
Re: iJams on a Blackberry
other smart phones just use their built in web browser
Re: iJams on a Blackberry

Sorry about this but I just can't make it work. I can only find instruructions for the iPhone. Is there step by step instructions for using a None apple phone
Re: iJams on a Blackberry
1: you MUST use WIFI on your smartphone: get on the wifi network
2: enter the IP address and port of the kjams server, eg: http://192.168.xx.xx:12345
then you're good

Re: iJams on a Blackberry
I have quite a few mobile junkies who are using ijams now...
My blackberry and droid guests have not been so successful.
I'm starting to think that in order to connect to the adhoc wifi network, they need to temporarily disable their 3G, while they navigate to the local url.
I'm gonna try this theory out this weekend, and I'll check back in on my findings.

Re: iJams on a Blackberry
yeah i've also heard conflicting reports that blackberries:
1: have totally sucky and lame web browsers and
2: they do NOT have WIFI
while 1 would make the experience pretty lame, 2 would simply kill the possibility. let me know what you fine.
