I bought a new mackbook a few months ago to replace my aging one. Just turned the new one on, went through some of the initial setup screens, then it asked if i wanted to transfer settings and files from another macbook. Clicked yes, just hooked up the two via a firewire cable, and turned the old one on per the instructions, and 10-15 minutes later, all my settings and files were transfered over including kjams and my music library. Gotta love macs...they just work!
