add to library - new songs

hi Dave, I am trying the lite version and I have the following doubt:
I created a folder called karaoke and clicked add to library.
then, I downloaded some new songs to that file and clicked add to library again. my feeling is, by doing so, I have added all songs again and now they are dupplicated. what am i doing wrong?

I don't think you should create a folder, just rip them. See the documentation page for ripping. The only time i "Add to library is if im adding old VCD songs.

thanks Brendan, but I don't have songs on cd, I have them downloaded from internet. that's why i clicked add them to library!

when you add to library, only add what is not already in the library. logically, adding something twice means it is in the library two times.
