Converting to Windows

Just talk about kJams stuff with each other, describe things you did that worked, talk about your setup, anything that doesn't fit into the other forums!

Converting to Windows

Post by HowardBrazee »

I have kJams which I run twice a month at our Senior living complex. I'd like to write up some instructions that would allow someone to take over if I become unable to continue. I know how to copy my library from my iMac to another Mac (after they install kJams). But if whomever takes over has a Windows machine, can he copy my kJams directory across without changing? If so, where would it go?

Hopefully, these instructions won't be used for many years (and things could change considerably before then), but I like to have them nevertheless.

I'm not going to publish my serial number. They will have to buy a new copy of kJams. It does seem to me that (whomever) might need to find a grandkid to follow the instructions on https://karaoke.kjams.com/wiki/Cloning though. (Depending upon who takes over).
