CD-G video adverts. Creating on a Mac.

Just talk about kJams stuff with each other, describe things you did that worked, talk about your setup, anything that doesn't fit into the other forums!

CD-G video adverts. Creating on a Mac.

Post by martinpittaway »

I purchased a Sound Choice 'Utilities' disk that contains 90 captions and a lot of other messages.

1. 15 Minutes Until The Karaoke Starts (5-minute track)
2. 10 Minutes Until The Karaoke Starts (5-minute track)
3. 5 Minutes Until The Karaoke Starts (5-minute track)
4. Hola! Bonjour! Wilkommen! Welcome!
5. Welcome To The Karaoke Show
6. Welcome To Our Monday Gig
7. Welcome To Our Tuesday Gig
8. Welcome To Our Wednesday Gig
9. Welcome To Our Thursday Gig
10. Welcome To Our Friday Gig
11. Welcome To Our Saturday Gig
12. Welcome To Our Sunday Gig

A selection.

No music plays, just the caption appears on the video screen. I've loaded them into kJams and set up an auto loop that plays whilst I'm awaiting singers.

I'm going international and want to add my own captions in the new language(s), but I can't find a way of creating these captions that kJams recognises.

I am Mac user with a sound knowledge of Mac applications but I can't find one that creates these captions. Does anyone know how? I have PhotoShop and obviously know Mac.

Well you could use kJams Producer:

To create the captions, they are called ShowScreens:

Hi Dave.

You actually already responded to an email of mine with the same information but good to let fellow kJams users into the knowledge of how to accomplish successfully.

Many thanks again.
