Play stops suddenly at beginning of song

Play stops suddenly at beginning of song

Problem occurs consistently. I hit the play on the transport and it plays about 1 or 2 seconds into the song and stops. I have to manually pull the cursor back to the beginning of the song and then hit play again. Then it goes smoothly until the next song. It's like trying to sing with a bad case of the hiccups.
