I just purchased a new licence and I have to say the quiz made me laugh. Tell me, if I failed the quiz, wouldn't I be able to buy it. Ha Ha

Yes, if you failed the quiz, it would keep quizzing you 'till you got it right. You would not BELIEVE the number of tech support calls i used to get "i can't enter the serial number!", or "kjams won't activate!" or "where do i download it now that i've bought it?".

if you're desperate to see the quiz do this:

run kjams
help->reveal preferences
quit kjams
in the prefs folder: put a tilde "~" as the first character of the "kJams xxx Serial Number.xml" file, ie: rename it to "~kJams xxx Serial Number.xml"
run kJams
you'll be in tryout mode, you may get a couple warnings
go help->purchase
enjoy the quiz

that's kindof funny, but i'm not so sure about saying someone will get AIDS, i can imagine someone who's lover was just diagnosed, reading that, they could feel it was insensitive. Note if i ever seem insensitive myself, please call me out, sometimes i get stuck behind my own perception filter.

Not sure how much someone whose significant other just got diagnosed with A.I.D.S. really cares about their plight if they are out signing up to sing "Love Shack"!
So far no complaints. Plus I rotate the message every few weeks. Then again, I'd say well over 90% of people never get past the first dialogue, instead just reflexively hitting "OK" over an over again, which bounces them back to the login screen. Then they come up to me to complain that the system is "broken" (and thus working as designed)!
