TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
I've just had this email
Sorry for the trouble. The TunePrompter software isn't compatible with Snow Leopard at this time and I don't know of any plans on updating it

Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
i've been running it all this time on Snow Leopard with no problems. what problem are you seeing?
Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
When I export to Quicktime it crashes most of the time.
Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
don't export to quicktime silly
let kjams do that!

Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
When I export for Apple TV it crashes and when I export for ipod/iphone the words are minuscule
Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
what is "it"? are you still talking about TunePrompter?
Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
Yes. TunePrompter crashes when I click Create Video. The only time TunePrompter doesn't crash is when I have export for ipod/iphone selected and then the words are silly small
Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
my first reply (okay first one when i knew what you meant) said "don't export to quicktime" from TunePrompter. maybe the "from TunePrompter" wasn't clear. I'll try again:
Don't export to QuickTime using TunePrompter.
let kJams do that. in other words: bring your TunePrompter file directly into kJams, and use kJams to export to QuickTime.
then again, if all you want to do is play it in kJams anyway there is no need to go to QuickTime at all.

Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
I see
I thought I had to click create video and then I would have the karaoke track. So, if I make the track and save it then import the resulting .ktp into kJams It'll play.
Thanks

Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
yes that's the point. you can also edit the track in kJams using Producer
Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
Thanks. It works
Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
HAHA...seriously? I either didn't know or didn't remember that kJams could just use the KTP file. I dug up an older mac and exported from TunePrompter. *doh*
From he to whom much liquor is given...much singing is expected.
Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
right. do NOT export from TunePrompter. just save the KTP file, quit, then drag it into kJams.
note: don't forget to set meta data while you're in TunePrompter.

Re: TunePrompter isn't compatible with Snow Leopard
Thats how i create my CDG's (as a ktp)
So, if i want to save a ktp and burn it to CD can i use the export to quicktime?
