Yay Windows!

Just talk about kJams stuff with each other, describe things you did that worked, talk about your setup, anything that doesn't fit into the other forums!

Nice job on the Windows port Dave! Finally there will be a quality Karaoke solution on the Windows side.

I know of a couple of karaoke DJs that I will send your way once this is available.

like the Mac version, this will be an "open paid beta". i'll encourage people to NOT pay for it, until it's more stable, but it will be regular shareware. free to use, pay to unlock. i know, a little weird to pay for beta (alpha?) software, but i have to turn this in to revenue so i can retire from my "real job" and do this full time.

Dave, my friend is anxiously awaiting arrival of kjams for windows. Will the system requirements be the same as the mac? My friend does not have an internet connection but i can borrow his machine and purchase for him. His machine is a few years old, here is what he has

1.8 Ghz processor
OS- XP version 2002
RAM 256 MB
HD- 30 GB free space

I know he will need to upgrade to 2 gig of ram but other than that, will his machine work with kjams? -Thanks

He also has a lite on LTN486S cdrw drive. The documentation states it is cdg compatible.

Hi Dave,

I have been a kjams user for a few years now. Will you offer a cross grade price for people wanting to move their license from Mac to Windows?

Cheers
