OK so lots of good dialogue here, but still no resolution for what I was asking about.
I'm not a pro user, and my parties generally don't have the same attendees every time.
I don't really need the "rotation" handled, I'd rather do that manually by skipping songs when people get hammy or dragging someone's song down the list based on the mood, etc.
So I need a simple list where I can search a song, add it to the list and specify the singer.
Don't need it to be added to their song list permanently, or even have the list of songs or singers remembered.

As already stated, you can do this by making a playlist, adding the desired tracks to it, and showing the Singer Nickname, Comment, Duet Comment, or any of the other fields that allow you to enter text.
