Ordering a playlist
I was asked to bring down my system for an Irish potato night. I created a playlist with four Irish songs, and wanted to order them so that they show up in the Rotation screen in the order that we want to sing them. I decided to show comment so that I could sort by comment order, but two of the song...

Re: Find a song with multiple channels
I don't think I have any songs with multiplexed tracks. I see that kJams can play a bunch of channels, so I wanted to buy a song that uses multiple channels. Just out of curiosity. I have a CD-G disk that has the same songs listed twice, once with quiet singing and once without. It would be neat to ...

Re: Had our first kJams session
OK. I doubt there is a way (short of writing an Apple Script), of storing my display configurations.
Re: Playlists
I meant, if my rename didn't "really" work, even though it appears to have worked perfectly except for that error message, I infer that someday the rename will go away. But I probably don't understand it correctly.

Had our first kJams session
Our senior-living residence had our first kJams session (our 4th Karaoke session - every 4 weeks for 2 hours). As with my test session, I found it very hard to get my Mac's displays to work right (to a monitor and a TV). I wish there was a way to save two commonly used display settings. I had a bit ...
Re: Playlists
I suppose that means that someday the rename will disappear. Or maybe not. I don't see that I know how to fix it.
Playlists
I created a new playlist "Untitled Playlist", and right clicked it to select "Get info", but never got a window to rename it. I tried single and double clicking on it, double clicking created "target mode". How do I rename it? And a couple of times I have renamed a song - creating a playlist of unre...

Re: The Right CD player
I tried using Terminal (I forgot the command), but what did the trick was re-booting while holding the right mouse button.

Re: The Right CD player
I had a couple of CDs that opened up two places on Finder. I could not close them or eject them, and couldn't even shut down my Mac. (I had to push the off button.) With the LG drive, I could eject the CD-G with a paper clip. I got "Gal Pop: Volume 1 Disk 2" stuck and went to the Apple Store, where ...

Re: The Right CD player
Note: Almost all of the bad rips were from one set of CD-Gs. Quality vendors also matter.

The Right CD player
I loaded a bunch of CD-Gs into kJams with a significant number of graphic errors. I was using a LG slim portable DVD writer that tested out for writing CD-Gs. David Cotter mentioned "it could be you have a CD drive that doesn’t properly implement error correction", and he was absolutely right. I got...

Re: What browsers work with kJams Webserver?
I really couldn't tell any difference between my iPad's browsers and wtkJams in testing, other than the money.

Go To Song
Is there an equivalent to the iTunes Command-L to take me to the song that's playing?
