CDs reading/burning with graphic artifacts
Using the same plextor external drive that I have always used for burning CDGs, I've noticed that as of the last few weeks, my CDs are burning with considerable visual artifacts/noise, although the audio tracks seem to be writing fine. Same is true for reading disks that I know will read fine in oth...

Re: Super CDG Ripping Problems
Just a note - the Chartbusters Essentials SCDGs are actually what brought me to kJams. Two nights before a show, I fried my CAVS player, and I already had the full e1-e6 CB collection, as well as the full NuTech 3000+ song SCGD collection. I didn't want to suffer along without 5000+ songs available,...

Re: Songs in library disappears
Quick question - did you move the song files from where you originally had them stored? Unlike iTunes, kJams does not take a copy of the song and cdg files when you add them to the library, so if you move them, they are gone. However, the library should still be showing them as there, they'll just g...

Re: Moving a singer in Rotation
Oh, one more thing - if things go sideways on you when you're live, DON'T PANIC - pushing a lot of buttons probably won't help. Instead, click on the stop button (big square). Find the song you want sung (regardless of the singer, search your Library real quick if you need to), click on it once to h...

Re: Moving a singer in Rotation
The KJ Rotation is a bit relative. First, look at who is singing next in the Rotation screen - let's say it's Andy. Now, look at your KJ Rotation screen. Andy is listed somewhere down in the middle, let's say 7th. After him in #8 is Carl. So, if you wanted to move yourself (Steve) to sing next after...

Re: Moving a singer in Rotation
Singer re-ordering doesn't happen in the Rotation screen! It happens in the "KJ Rotation" screen. Yes, I had some issues getting this sorted when I started using this software too - this part doesn't seem the most intuitive to start with, but it helps to try and think of the "Rotation" screen as the...

Re: Possible bug - cannot quit. CONFIRMED!
Side note - disabling Core Graphics does make it so that the "About kJams" stuff doesn't appear in the video window, but does not effect the ability (or lack thereof) to close kJams after attempting to open a second instance.

Re: Strange Video Screen
r35 is apparently the current (latest) public release. r36 has been referenced in the changelog, but appears to have either not been released, or been pulled due to known crashers/severe bugs.

Re: Strange Video Screen
Also confirmed that editing the Use CoreGraphics key to false fixes the flipping graphics, and also fixes my screen orientation issue.
There's something fishy about these CoreGraphics, Dave.

Re: Strange Video Screen
Confirmed that I too do not have to click on 'Take Photos' to replicate bug - screen flips lyrics upside down on mouseover of playlist items, menu items, possibly other things. No effect on screens such as rotation, etc; just lyrics.

Re: Possible bug - cannot quit.
Ok, steps as above need a little modification. I missed a critical step, that makes this a little harder to replicate. It appears I need to open the "About kJams" window in order to screw things up. So, steps: 1. Open kJams 2. File > About kJams (opens in video window) 3. open second instance of kJa...

Re: Possible bug - cannot quit.
Ok, not quitting error happened again - I think it has something to do with the having a second kjams window open check. I noticed when I upgraded to r35, it wouldn't let the upgrade process normally, and forced me to quit the new version. Perhaps I should explain... Normally, on an upgrade I: Open ...

Re: Strange Video Screen
I had this problem too, with the release before the current one (I haven't downloaded the newest release yet) - but it seemed to be related to issues I was having with the 'Take Pictures' option - I think if I restarted kJams and left the Take Pictures option alone, it stopped the flippy screens. Wh...
