Yes, a nice holiday...

I took a week off on the Oregon coast with my sweet wife, where we read to each other, played frisbee, cooked gourmet food, and drank expensive wine. But also, aside from that, i'm completely re-writing the meta-database right now. There won't be a release until that is done and debugged, since it i...

linked?

Well i'm not sure what you mean by "linked" but the way i think of it, they "live together". there's no info in one file that says "i belong with that other file" but they must live in the same directory and have the exact same name (except for extension). the MP3 is the music only and the CDG is th...

no lyrics from iTunes

The karaoke songs sold at the iTunes Music Store do not have graphics (lyrics) with them. Not only that, but only iTunes can play AAC protected music. Do not buy karaoke from Apple until they start selling it with graphics and unprotected.

The places to buy karaoke online are listed here.

You may have seen this...

I will eventually have a "Print Catalog" function, but for now, you can simply copy and paste from kJams to whatever program you want.

limit

the reason for the limit is that there is no such thing as a track number greater than 99 on any CD. only data cd's or mp3 cds can have an arbitrary number of songs. the CD spec has only 2 digits for the track number. you can't burn a disc with more than 99 tracks (technically 96 or something) in 20...

about to fix that

you really should have the tasks window open, to see what the CPU is doing. yes, right now when you edit meta info, after a 10 second delay (which i will soon up to 30 seconds) the meta info is "pushed" into the files on disk. if they are zipped, which they probably are, that ammounts to unzipping t...

I don't know why the notifier is not telling me when people make a new post, something is skwewey with the notifier. sorry it took so long for me to notice this!
