The Right CD player
I loaded a bunch of CD-Gs into kJams with a significant number of graphic errors. I was using a LG slim portable DVD writer that tested out for writing CD-Gs. David Cotter mentioned "it could be you have a CD drive that doesn’t properly implement error correction", and he was absolutely right. I got...

Re: What browsers work with kJams Webserver?
I really couldn't tell any difference between my iPad's browsers and wtkJams in testing, other than the money.

Ahh, that would be: http://howard-brazees-computer.local/
We only have a half dozen singers and a dozen lurkers so far. I expect people to use whatever browsers are on their smartphones. And some will turn in sheets with songs they select from printed lists.

Find a song with multiple channels
It would be fun to get a song with multiple channels and see how that works (It would be *great* if that was a song like Kyu Sakamoto's "Ue o muite aruko ("Keep your head up and walk")", better known as Sukiyaki in the U.S.). Or some familiar song like a standard would work. Any suggestions where I ...

Re: Don't turnoff the server - we need to work
It might be nice to be able to put a closing time in - and don't let people submit songs that would last past that closing time.

I'll watch in the future. I'm pretty much done loading our disks and the songs I bought. Other people might contribute more.

Re: Why do I sometimes rip multiple copies from one?
Right now I am going through my library with volume turned down, displaying songs on my other monitor. When I see unreadable fonts, I change the title, appending (Bad) to the name. I intend on re-ripping from CD or re-loading from downloaded files to see if they come out better (one example *did* co...

Re: Archive a song
I just did some testing: It seems that I can pick a song and "Reveal in Finder" to find the .zip file in the kJams directory. Then copy the .zip file to an archive directory. Then return to kJams and delete the song from my library. I can always rip that .zip file back into kJams. Everybody agree th...

Why do I sometimes rip multiple copies from one?
I just bought the song "16 tons" from Karaoke Net. I downloaded the .zip file and ripped it. Now I see 3 different songs in my library. They look the same except for two different names. I will delete two of them, but I'm curious why do they rip this way. I went to my downloads file and opened the ....
