All Star Karaoke problems
I bought 2 songs from All Star Karaoke about a month ago. A user found the song on-line and gave me the money for it. It downloaded one, but thinks it downloaded the other. I can't download the other song. I have contacted them on-line multiple times, and phoned them multiple times, without getting ...

Red line at end of song placement
Why do I usually have the red line indicating the end of the song, inside of the bar showing how much is played—but occasionally will be on the outside of that bar, to the right?

Apple's new chip
I've read that the new Macs with the ARM chip that will be shipping later this year won't be able to run any operating system older than Big Sur. So I won't be able to boot to my Mojave SSD to run kJams when I replace this computer. Hopefully, 64-bit kJams will be ready before that happens.

Re: Kjams Pro Licence (Mac OS / Windows)
Because of the delay in getting Catalina-ready kJams, I ended up doing something which I believe is a good idea anyway. I bought an external SSD drive and installed Mojave on it. When I want kJams, I boot up to that drive. If I want, I could boot up to that drive on someone else's Mac. When kJams is...

When we start again
What changes and concerns should people who are on isolation plan for when isolation is over? I (used to) play twice per month at our senior living complex. We use two corded microphones and two cordless microphones without coverings. How are you preparing for Karaoke when things are in early normal...

Re: Zipped songs under Catalina
It may be that Apple has already fixed it. After I upgraded to Catalina 10.15.4 yesterday, I opened a few zipped songs successfully.

Re: Zipped songs under Catalina
Is this something that Apple is going to fix?
Or will you need to have an obsolete unzipper forever?
Or will current zipped files need to be converted?
Just curious.

Re: Zipped songs under Catalina
I booted to Mojave and double-clicked on that song and a few others. They all unzipped. Went back to Catalina and got that error with those songs.

Re: Zipped songs under Catalina
I'll check. Hmm, I went back to Spotlight for that same search and got that message immediately without having a "find". Pulled out a different utility to find where the file is. I could open a different Karaoke zip file with Catalina.

Zipped songs under Catalina
I boot to Mojave to run kJams. But today I used Spotlight under Catalina to do a search and got a result which found an error within a Karaoke song. Googling, one answer I found is that the file is zipped with a 32-bit zip program. Does that make sense? Will we have to convert our songs when before ...

Re: Closing song indicator
I have one person who always has a dozen songs queued up at any time. I keep them queued up for the next Karaoke night.

Closing song indicator
The feature request that could make using kJams easier for me is a way to indicate the end of the night. This could be putting an indicator on a song or a time of night that kJams recognizes so that no queued songs after this end are displayed. Optionally, it could display a message instead of a son...

Re: Using kJams in Parallels in Catalina
When I first installed Mojave on my SSD, I had all of my data (and program) on my Catalina drive, and used aliases to point to the old stuff, which worked. But I decided to move everything to the Mojave drive, as this gives me great flexibility being able to run it on any Mac! I got the idea after r...
