nope :(

Sorry, Matshita is known to not support CD+G, it's not a firmware issue, it's a hardware issue, the hardware is simply not capable. If the drive works for kJams... well, clearly, if the drive *does* work for kJams, that means you will be able to put in a CD+G disc, yes, and press play and see graphi...

Thanks! :D

Hey glad to hear it's workin' for ya! You can actually get pretty decent functionality even with the free one, you know you can load your library with as many songs as you want, then when you want to play one just type it's name to find it, then double click on it. The free version does not limit th...

"the"

Your best bet at this point is to scroll down to "the" and select all the same artists and get info and manually move "the" to the end, they will all update at once. That pref is only for Adding to Library songs that already exist as MP3+G, i don't think it is applied during Rip, tho it should be. -...

compatability

that entirely depends on the drive.
try to rip and see if you get a message "you need a new drive".
if you don't, then you're good to go!

intel

rosetta is right out. no point in wasing time making it Rosetta compatible when I could spend the same time making it Intel native. Timeline: same as before, ie: no firm date. Having said that, you may like to know that I've got it now compiling and running on Intel and am now debugging the endian i...

almost there, but not enough

I tried very very hard to make kJams be endian -neutral. Unfortunately, without hardware to test against along the way, I didn't get it right. At this point, it's easier for me to focus on getting a universal binary than just fix the endian issue. (kJams uses uncompressed PCM files for it's internal...

any time

i think it can happen while ripping and durning normal play. a solution someone came up with is to crank your cache size to something enormous. You must have LOTS of free drive space to do this. I'm working on this bug first, but until it's fixed, setting your cache size very very large avoids the p...

bug reproduction steps

well i have to give you the gold star for this, this is the first time i've seen really detailed reproduction steps to re-create this bug from scratch. armed with this info, i will most certainly be able to fix the bug. now my next challenge is finding time. as I said, i'm gone for a month. i may ha...

crashies

I think so yes, but i am not completely sure. I don't have a QA team so I can never get enough data from a single user to pin down the issue, i only get sporatic reports of very small parts of the overall problem and I am left to piece it together. It's like getting a jigsaw puzzle with 75% of the p...
