Song Slip Misbehavior?
It seems that I don't have the right sequence of steps to prevent song slip when selecting a different song. Example: Sometimes I jump to a different song out of sequence in a playlist, and when the song starts, the music is out of synch with the lyrics. The Menu Control is set to "No global slip" &...

Major kJams Startup problem
On kJams bootup, the entire library window & all playlist are blank. There are no songs in the list. But all the zip songs in the /~/user/music/kJams/kjams music (and/ kjams library databases are intact.) If I try anything, the following message appears: "Assert fail: songp,in file:'/users/davec/dev...

Producer Dropping Files
I am not sure what is happening. I make a new karaoke song with Producer and I save data base before quitting Producer. Next, I play the new song from the kjams library and it plays great! All the templates and graphics are there and every thing is good! Now I shut my computer down and the next day ...

If I slip a song while playing, and I also "Save Database" while playing; will kJams remember the slip when I play that particular song the next time??

kJams Hangup
Many times when I quit kJams, It gets hung up with the following task message being displayed:
"Abort song importers and zip tasks"
I have to then force quit kJams in order to get out of hangup.
Is there something I'm missing?

Re: kJams/AVI curious
I'm not sure if I can follow you.
I don't see any menu option to export a kJams file as an AVI file.
Although I can export to QuikTime as MPEG-4 file.

kJams/AVI curious
I notice a number of "portable" karaoke microphones have hit the market. The mics featured are self contained in that they use SD cards for their AVI karaoke files. The mics have active vol, echo, & pitch control. Also they state that they provide S/W to convert CDG files to AVI files to load the SD...

Re: Browser Font Size limit
My current versions of kJams Lite & Pro Tryout do not allow me to widen the "Pitch" column in the browser.
PS Download of latest Mac version of Lite resulted in defective app. Tried several times but results not good.

Browser Font Size limit
I like to see my song lists in large font sizes say around 17 or 18. I've changed "kJams Preferences.plist" and indeed the browser changes size accordingly.....but with one hitch. The 'Pitch' column cannot display the pitch setting and appears to be limited to fonts less than 16. Is there any fix to...

Re: Key/Volume retention?
Guess what I was really trying to say is when I export a playlist as flat files, ie a CDG file with an MP3 file; the MP3 file does not remember the pitch setting from the kJams playlist. Hope that helps.

Re: Multiplex CDG's Channel Suppression
dave, I ran another test here and found that a suppressed multiplex channel is remembered/captured in a CDG burn. However,as you stated, a suppressed multiplex channel is not captured in a MP3G zip file. But, if you have the Audacity app, you can delete the right channel containing the vocal and sav...
