Re: Video out

Thanks for that. I've not had time to get to apple to get their lead yet, when I do I 'll get the dongle you mention and try it, but I am concerned that it won't work. I've been on another forum and from the discussions on the subject there it seems that the new Apple's now send out digital signal a...

Video out

I know this forum is for kjams but I have a problem with the video out on my new MacBook Pro. The video signal coming out of new MacBook Pro's is now digital and all the TV's in the venues I work in have analogue TV's. Does anyone know of a digital to analogue converter I can get in the UK that will...

Re: MacBook Pro

Thanks, When I tried to open kjams it crashed before it opened, so I moved the library to another folder and then opened kjams, put the purchase code in closed kjams re-instated the library and then kjams opened. The reason this happened is, I think,is because I still had playlist in use that had lo...

Re: MacBook Pro

I went to Apple today with my MacBook Pro and told them my problematic history with it and I asked them if they were proud to have sold me the machine. They said they were not proud of it and they checked it out and told me as I've had three problems (I've had six all told) they will change it, and ...

Re: Are Two Libraries Possible?

I don't know if this is any use to you , but I use a singers file as a library and I keep it at the top by using ^ before the name "Library" Each track is unique and I have all the tracks that have ever been played in this library and it makes searching much faster (almost instant). If the track req...

10 second clips of tittle

Some time ago I asked Dave if he could give us the option of playing the 1st 10 seconds of each track so when I'm having a quite night, potential singers might get the impetus to get up and have a go at one of the tracks they've seen the title to. Dave said he would put it on his list but as we all ...

Re: MacBook Pro

I appreciate you saying "let's all try to stay on the topic of kJams" but the reason I'm using kjams is because I use a macbook pro and if I have an issue with it, using this forum to help resolve it is the best way forward because if I use another forum, they never understand the specifics of being...

Bravos,Los set in stone

Occasionally when using computers one come across anomalies, such as in Excel the song True will be all capitals and centered even though the rest of the spread sheet is Left justified and not all capitals. I know why that happens and how to get over it, but last night I came across another. I'm cre...

I was given some music videos to try the other day so I put them on my HD and then played them using quicktime. I wasn't happy with that so I added them to my kjams library, put them into their own singer file and played them. They played great so now I can use just kjams for my background music and...
