allowed licenses
yes you're allowed to activate your serial number (license) on two computers that you own. No, you can't just move from one computer to another easily, that would require me to deactivate an activated machine. it would be handy if eSellerate would let the user manage activations themselves, but they...

don't swear off ebay, you can get very good stuff. one bad experience doesn't make the whole thing bad.

i used to use StuffitExpander to do my unzipping, which could not unzip many zip files, so i called them "corrupt". Then i started using "BOMArchiveHelper", which was better but still choked on many files. Then I hit upon just using the command line "unzip" function, which was able to unzip any zip ...

The instant I can, I will
Well I just want to let you know that Apple so far does not allow third parties to run programs on the iPod. why not just press the play/pause button?

not at this time.
you'll just have to "add to library" the other files, but you've lost all your meta info editing.
better to start with your old library and "add to library" the new files

plextor
I'm quite confident that all older Plextor models *can* read and write CD+G format, so yes i recommend going that route.
And it's perfectly reasonable to use an "internal" drive as an external drive, with the appropriate $12 adapter.
