Re: Copy a singer from one location to current location
Holy Sheepdip! I'll try it soon providing my better half/spouse/wifey lets me near her MacBook. Also, DeusExMachina, your Paypal link in the link you provided seems a little confused. If this puppy works as advertised, I'll be the first in line to throw some money your way! 8^) Have a great long wee...

Re: Keeping the Wi-Fi Connection on an iPhone
Len, Did you ever get an answer or solution to this issue? We use a MacBook Pro 13 Mid 2010 model with Snow Leopard, using the Ad-Hoc network (cause there's no access to venue's WiFi) and experience this issue ALL the time. wtKJams does not like this, sometimes crashing 30+ times a night on my iPad....

Copy a singer from one location to current location
Ability to copy a singer (with all their faves, etc) from one venue to the current one while kJams is running (instead of quitting kJams, making an alias of the singer from his host venue to the current venue & then relaunching kJams - that's a bit of a pain). I'd pay for an upgrade with that featur...

Re: Feedback on Airport Express as kJams router
Hi Dave,
Thanks for the quick reply. Black Friday is coming and I hope to score one or two of the old Airport Express. Have a great Thanksgiving and don't eat too much turkey or if that's not on the plate, then not too much tofuta-turkey! 8^)
cheers!

Feedback on Airport Express as kJams router
Hi all, We're currently using a Linksys WRT54G wireless router and I'm getting the feeling it is heading slowly into the bit bucket. So, which brings me to a question or two: • Would the Airport Express (current model) work as a wireless access point in venues where there isn't an open wireless acce...

Re: wtkJams now available on the App Store
I bring an iPad 2 and iPod Touch 1st Gen and they circulate about the venue. Some venues have younger singers and who have iPhones or an Android device of some sort, so they manage their own accounts. Other venues still use our books (which are produced with Karaoke Book Deluxe - not a bad program b...

Re: wtkJams now available on the App Store
Oh dear! I've just tried v1.01 of here's my 2¢ worth. First of all, thanks for releasing a new search app for kJams. Variety is the spice of life as they say. Niceties: It's nice to have the artist under the song name in the singers' various lists. Last sung date in the history is a nice touch too. ...

Re: General Question: re: Security (eg: Knox or FileVault)
Hi all,
After researching the pro's & con's of Vault and to a lesser extent, FileVault, we decided not to use either. The potential problems wasn't worth the extra effort.
kind regards all,
Mark & Anita

General Question: re: Security (eg: Knox or FileVault)
Hi all, This is a general question regarding security. We don't want our kJams library useable by someone else if our MacBook is stolen. We've used a utility on the Mac called Knox by Agile Web Solutions for other projects, but just for protected storage, not real time use as with kJams. Our questio...

How to create a new venue?
Hi all, I've got one venue already, but when I go File > Venue > New Venue, kJams renames my only venue to Untitled Venue. This Untitled Venue seems to have deleted or hidden my singers that were in that venue. Am I missing something? I've burrowed through the documentation and forum posts in Q & A,...

Hi Dave,
We're running r39 and see the same error. Should we downgrade to r37?

Anita

Re: Crashes when importing SuperCDG discs
Hi Dave, I will try to re-create the problem. I would insert the disc and select all and drag them into the library. I would then watch the activity window as it ripped the songs and wait until there was no more activity. Then I would go into the library and search for the disc I had just entered an...
