Playing "filler" music between singers - how to?

Any help will be appreciated - I've been opening both itunes and kJams and switching back and forth between apps to do this. Is there an easier way?

Re: Which Karaoke Companies do you recomend or prefer

I have always liked Sound Choice - I used to like Priddis, but no longer available w/ lyrics on screen. For me, Chartbuster is a very close 2nd at this time. More affordable also if you wait for their 3 disk sets. e.g. check out price for Chartbuster 2009 country 3 disk set online - the trick is wai...

Re: re. add to library - chartbuster cdgs

Thanks, Dave --- supper time around here, so I'll be heading off shortly.

Now when I cleared the cache, 24,342 music files remained.

Also, SCDGS that were added to library, show up as separate playlists.

Is this as expected?

Thanks again,

Ron

Re: re. add to library - chartbuster cdgs

The Techs concern was that I do not have enough memory (160gb) on my internal hard drive the Tech in this case may be correct. You show that you have only 5.5 MB of free space on your internal drive. this is not enough space for kjams to cache even one song. you should have a few GIGAbytes free on ...

Re: Constant Crash!

I recently downloaded about 4000 SCDG files when you say "downloaded" do you REALLY mean downloaded? Please check your definition and let me know. NO, mea culpa! sorry, ..."ripped"... and upon seeing meta data, actually -> I dragged the scdg icon to "add to folder" icon on kJams - it worked ...

Re: re. add to library - chartbuster cdgs

Thanks for the comments (dialogue), guys -- I'd like to accommodate your suggestion, Dave, but I'm struggling with other computer related issues at the moment that'll prevent me from doing so...When I get the other stuff sorted out, I'll be happy to oblige. :D After emailing you last night Dave (re....

Re: Constant Crash!

Hi Dave, Don't know if you received my last note (so if this is the 2nd copy, please ignore.) kJams is crashing since I recently downloaded about 4000 scdg files. I have a mac osx - vs 10.5.6 4 gb messages i get when opening now are, when opening: "kJams: no eSellerate Engine only allows you to have...

Re: re. add to library - chartbuster cdgs

Thanks for your quick response, Dave. I appreciate it. I want to try to be more explicit - here goes. I've noticed that several (definitely not all) of my cdgs actually play and come up with title, artist and other data when I insert them directly into my macs hard drive. When this happens, it's unb...

re. add to library - chartbuster cdgs

Upon inserting a chartbuster cdg into my macbook, it plays and data (t, a, etc.) is listed, lyrics come up, etc.

Does that mean I can just copy it to my library & now I can fetch it anytime? or, do I need to use my plextor drive instead?

Thanks,

Ron (newbie)

Re: Videos

Hi Kara, I like this a lot. - (Newbie Ron L.) Are you able to add videos from iTunes to the kJams Library? I use to use vignettes from SNLive occasionally (depending on the crowd) and number of singers and folks always seemed to like that (as a little break). Some of the older and topical stuff that...

New to kJams - Need Advice re. doing a show

Hi, I've been a kj for about 10 years - but new to kjams. Have always used cavs jb99, jb199, etc. but want to use kJams for a variety of reasons. I'm just beginning; have already downloaded a pretty solid number of tunes - almost 20k - with mixed results re. song titles - some came up as numbers, so...
