Freeze on scan

I forget your term for it, but when dragging/scanning through the song using the top display, when it comes to the end of what's loaded, it will now lock up the program completely. I've reproduced it a couple times. I don't have pre-load checked, if it makes a difference. I'll make a full bug write-...

Re: Deleting a track from a singer's tonight list re-marks here

This bug is back again - I think we had it fixed in r15, but then the listing got screwed up... I don't think it's limited to "tonight" lists either - I think I was deleting out of the Favorites list. this is as of r22. Doubt it changed in r23. Edit: just tested in r23. Definitely still happening wi...

Re: ADDING MIC INPUT

Well, I posted to your other thread re: no sound how to free up another mic input. Your board technically has 4 mic inputs, but you will end up using at least one of them for your music input. There's a couple different ways you can do what you want to do - which is run 4 mics and at least one exter...

Re: Mixer setup: no sound?

I just took another look at that board, and you may be able to plug a stereo 1/4" plug into the line 3/4 jack and then you won't have to also tie up line 5/6. It's pretty uncommon to use stereo 1/4" plugs on mixers (or anywhere else, except headphones) so I didn't think about it before. The "stereo"...

Re: Printing... to CSV

KJ Pro - also promising, but it only accepts import from Excel files. As I want to NOT have to involve a spreadsheet program for this, I'm not looking too much further into this. Aside from a couple more windows solutions from TriceraSoft, there really isn't much else out there. If I were a develope...

Re: Printing... to CSV

Trying some other stuff - Music Book Deluxe will accept either comma delimited or pipe delimited files, but not tab delimited. However, they will also accept CAVS juke files, and only require artist, title, and track number. So, there is some hope for getting this program working, but still with com...

Re: Printing... to CSV

Ok, third strike - Airwer Karaoke Song List Creator doesn't even seem to support importing a .csv file. In fact, the only way to get a "custom" disc in there seems to be to add it track by track. Not going to happen.

I'll keep digging.

Re: Printing... to CSV

OK, here's the data for another program I was thinking of using at one time (never bought the license, but played with it a bit) Karaoke Song Book Pro CDNum, CDTitle, TrackNum, Title, AuthorBand, Category Each of these fields should conform the following format... CDNum - Text 20 CDTitle - Text 200 ...

Re: Printing... to CSV

OK, tried this, total fail. I'm using FastTracks V2 SongBook Creator Basic to do the books, which did a beautiful job for me before I switched to kJams and using my Mac to host shows. (before I was using regular CDGs and CAVS/SCDGs.) Yes, it's a Windows program, but it does such a great job of forma...

Re: Printing... to CSV

If I take the output from the clipboard, and paste it to a text file, I get what I think would be a tab delineated CSV format. You're right, I may be able to use this direct. I think what I am really trying to skip is any third party application between kJams and the book making software. I'll check...

more like "also" - I use the heck out of the "Enter Custom Screen Message" / Message feature. I would be good to have a similar option for the messenger.

Ooh, Ooh, another idea - access to web server css

If there is a way to give us access to the css for the web server stuff, that would be great. The blinding whiteness of it all is a little much for me, and I'm sure I could play with it just a little and get it more to my liking. At the moment, it looks like the css is coded right into the page temp...

Yet another request - Messages UI

Dave, you've got a great thing started with the scrolling Messages at the bottom of the screen. However, I've got a couple of requests (or thoughts on making them better) 1. Control of font/color/alpha for messages. Currently they seem to be a white outline font at less than 100% alpha - 50% at a gu...

Re: Random image moving on the lyrics's back

Brendan, I may be way off on this, as I have been trying for a long time to not use processor-intensive options (like webcam, the take picture option, or whatever) while using kJams, as I had an old Powerbook. I thought the "take picture" option in kJams did just that, take a picture, but didn't try...
