Re: karaokeanywhere
I was talking post KaraokeAnywhere (since apparently, they don't seem to care.)
I assumed from your post that you were going to just write the app yourself.
From there, you would get an army of people pushing it if there was a revenue sharing model.
Just a brainstorm.

Re: Updated Server files with autologout and last name suppo
Soon as in I shouldn't bother to re-add it, or soon as in, after we get iGlasses support?

Correcting Delete Key operation in server
OK, So I have finally gotten the server pages working such that when a user on a Mac hits the "Delete" key , or PC user hits the Backspace key, the server page does what it should (at least in my perspective.) If no playlist item is selected, then, like magic, nothing happens. If a playlist item IS ...

Re: A handy kJams Launcher app
By the way, the real point here is for those more industrious (and yes, talented) than mayself to use this as a FOSS-y foundation to add whatever other code they want to do setups for kJams. Like start Audio Recorder (which I use to make highlighted snippets of songs to play back once a singer compl...

Re: karaokeanywhere
What would be even nicer is a revenue sharing model. A few cents to you, a few to the person on whose network the iJams client is surfing.

I will NOT go so far as to actually start a new thread with that question!

Oh, cool, since autologout has been taken back OUT of server, nice that i posted these here, so I can d/l them again, myself, to re-add my old autologout code.

Re: Accessing webserver with IE or FF on Vista -- FAIL
Just a quick note: You still can use IE or firefox (though why you would want to, I do not know) the issue is Bonjour (mDNS). Comes standard in Safari, and launching Safari launches Bonjour. If you want to use IE (UGH!!!) or FireFox, or even Chrome, you just need to use Bonjour for Windows . Once yo...

Re: webcam compatability
Wait, what?!?I did buy iGlasses to help me fix some exposure problems. But for most situations it should be fine.
How did you get iGlasses to work with kJams. Dave and I both have been beating our heads up against that particular wall for almost a year, and have been totally blown off by eCamm.

Re: karaokeanywhere
Actually Dave, I think the revenue stream, especially since you already have done the foundational research, is just to incorporate it into iJams, or make a separate app, but link it to your already existing stores. Your kJams Pro users can help get the word out at shows (you could make a showScreen...

Re: A handy kJams Launcher app
Well, for my uses, I like having access to other things in my user account. Not just e-mail and IM (which I sometimes use in conjunction) but other things as well. I tried running in a separate account for a while, but I ran into a number of situations where not having access to my stuff got to be p...

Re: iJams needs to be set free
I am completely book-free, and run almost exclusively with Server. I have the opposite experience. I work at a bar where many patrons PRIDE themselves on how cheap they are. I have never once mentioned the app to someone with an iPhone, clarified that it is 99¢, and have them not get it. At most I g...
