kJams

Is there something i am doing wrong here? I am running a Mac with Lion. Could it have anything to do with the preferences being set for Quicktime on importing (ripping)?, there is an aiff option there???? In the folder i have all my kJams songs in it has saved each song listed twice, once with aiff ...
