Re: Accidentally Removed Songs from Main Library
there's no easy way to recover them. i used to have a "scan for orphans" but it was crashy so instead of fixing it i think i disabled it. try it see what happens? rebuilding your library will get them back but you'll lose your singers and playlists. if you really need this i'll re-enable "scan for ...

Accidentally Removed Songs from Main Library
I accidentally removed a few hundred songs from the main kjams library. They're still in the kjams folder. Is there an easy way to get them back? Don't want to use back up because it was created after the accidental removal.

Re: Printing... to CSV
Sorry it took so long to get back to you Gary. As far as your first question, its all in how you create the base report in the report creator. your initial query would return your results sorted by artist, then title. you then create a report header and configure it to group by artist and format the...

Re: Moving entire Karaoke library to a new macbook pro
I bought a new mackbook a few months ago to replace my aging one. Just turned the new one on, went through some of the initial setup screens, then it asked if i wanted to transfer settings and files from another macbook. Clicked yes, just hooked up the two via a firewire cable, and turned the old on...

Re: Printing... to CSV
Sedge,
Send me the raw output file, excel or tab delimited text will be fine, and an example of what you want your books to look like. Lemme see if I can whip something up.

Re: What equipment do you use?
Yeah, thanks for that feedback on Behringer, i bought a mini mixer for $40 last year and its has been great for home use in my home receiver. I have been looking at their mixers and speaker. I will buy my mixer/ amp separately but when matching speakers and amps, i find it confusing. Do i want the ...

Re: Printing... to CSV
Sedge, Currently, i'm using ms access for my songbooks. It has a great little report designer that will create just about anything you need. It will accept just about any kind of delimiter, pipe, tab, comma, or custom delimiters. You can easily create a table and either copy and paste your delimited...

Re: What equipment do you use?
Speaking of Behringer, I use their equipment pretty much exclusively and love it. You can't beat their prices. You can get their mics in a three pac for 59 bucks!!! And don't think they're cheap mics. They are not. looks like they tried to copy the sure 58 and did a damn good job of it. If you had y...

Re: A Plug for Kjams
Dave, The map feature is finished. All you need to do is pass in a zip code (5 digit) and it will display all shows within a 1000 mile radius of the zip passed in. The info boxes for each point will display the all the information I have for the venue, including show days. If a KJ is registered with...
