Re: assert fail err using KJPRO
1. Identify a set of improperly named tracks that are really from the same disc
2. Add them all to a new playlist
3. Select the playlist
4. Choose Advanced > Get tracks from KJPRO
at this point the error dialog comes up - close it
5. enter disc ID in dialog box
6. tracks are renamed successfully

3. Select the playlist
4. Choose Advanced > Get tracks from KJPRO

Dave,
I'm using the KJPRO integration to add meta data and it is working flawlessly except for the attached error. It doesn't break anything, just thought you would want to know...

slow sorting of search RESULTS
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but I'll put it here for now... I enter "artist: zepp" in the search box and press Enter, after 5-6 seconds (I have 100k+ files) I get a result set of 23 Led Zepplin songs. When I click the column header for "Song Name" it takes another 5-6 seconds. Is KJP...

hide-able "EQ" panel for sync/temp adjustments
Dave, I recognize that KJams aims to keep a sleek, iTunes-like appearance. However, there are certain features I don't use often enough that I don't remember the keyboard shortcuts, but when I need them, I'm scrambling to find them - for example sync-slipping and tempo/pitch adjustment. I think it mi...

Exception during import
Dave I'm getting an exception message during import. I'm running Lion, KJams 1.0d52r28. I'm rebuilding by KJams database after moving all of my .zip files to a new external drive. I renamed the /music/kjams to /music/kjamsold then restarted KJams. It created a new /music/kjams folder, downloaded the...

is Reinterpret Names making progress?
Dave, I set KJams to work about 24 hours ago reinterpreting names of about 100k files. I'm on a very recent version (sorry, I'd check but KJams is busy) and I'm on Lion, dual core macbook pro with 4GB RAM. I understand that this is a LOT of files to process. I want to know if there is a way to verif...

Assert fail in CDIgNameFormat.cpp during "reinterpret
Dave - first of all - I love kJams Pro. I'm not a professional but a karaoke junkie and think your work is fantastic! I'm finally getting around to scrubbing names of tracks using the "reinterpret names" feature, which works great, however I'm finding that I get an occasional error. It usually occur...

kjams lite.log
Hi Dave, Sorry for the previous post. I've uploaded the kjams lite.log file to your FTP mount point. It shows the import I am attempting, and how when the adding is complete and kjams begins to save the song list, it encounters errors: ... ... ... Adding: ZML010-18 - Jxl - Little Less Conversation, ...

Error Loading/Saving Database when loading Library
Hi Dave, I am importing a large number of files(19,000+) from folders that are deeply nested. Most of them conform to the LTAS name format so I accept it as the default for all of the folders (which I multi-selected for import). The import routine seems to spin though all of the files ok, then I see...
