I think it would be a great checkbox option in the settings as well...

It matters because when my laptop sitting next to the stereo isn't being manned and is in between singers, when someone walks by or is chatting next to it, it's sent through the speakers!

Is there any way to have the microphone auto-mute between songs and only un-mute once a song plays? I'm having a few folks over to my home this weekend and want to leave the system up-and-running for anyone to jump on at any time, but without auto-muting mic capability I'll have to leave instruction...
