Slight Update: after doing the zero-byte-mp4 procedure again and trying to rip the second disc again, it hasn't worked, I'm getting zero-byte files.

which advice, specifically? Just what's here (https://karaoke.kjams.com/wiki/Songs_Not_Renamed) I've tried to check that no folders are locked and check for all meta data, and it's all there in its correct columns in the kjams library, it's all real data too.
