Re: wtkJams 1.0.6 Android

Sorry dave... read too far into that. That's essentially what I was trying to do last year, but I have very limited web knowledge.

Re: wtkJams 1.0.6 Android

I know of a couple. Not many with the skills to reverse engineer, and recode to both integrate into kjams, and satisfy both iOS and Android.

I know of one out of town who's wicked smart tho... I'll try to shoot him a message and see what he says.

Re: wtkJams 1.0.6 Android

Yeh... kind of seems like the android app is a pipe dream. My singers love the wtkjams app for iPhone tho. It's kind of too bad really. I wish I had stayed with school... I was actually going for programming lol. Maybe we're thinking about it wrong though. Do you think the web app could be overhaule...

Re: Add new singer = Automatically here

Thanks guys. Didn't know that was there. Used it all of tonight, and it's way faster than the method I've been using. :D

Add new singer = Automatically here

Is this possible? I run a hybrid system with the app, and paper.... When I get a singer who's never sung at my show before, I create a new singer, and then I have to tell kJams that they're here... I was wondering if this could be one step.

Hide/Unhide songs?

So where I live, there was a bar that got a special license and allowed kids inside for an afternoon of karaoke. I thought it was a great idea, until poor marketing kinda killed the show. I was thinking about picking this idea up, only doing it better.. and it brought me to a feature idea. Now while...

Re: First party- everything was smooth....

Hehe.. Yeh I figured that even if it were possible, it's be a little over my head.

Best to leave it to the professionals. :)

Kjams really is the best karaoke solution out there. Thanks for all the work you put into it!

Re: Can't Find Songs since last update

The problem I ran into with PDF was optimizing for mobile. I don't have much experience with Adobe, and couldn't get it to look nice on the small screen. Plus android users have to download the file and then open up a seperate PDF viewer. Too much work for someone who's already drunk lol. I use html...

Re: First party- everything was smooth....

No worries dave! :). I just thought that if pitch could be changed, the comment box could be too.

I was hoping to save you some work

Re: First party- everything was smooth....

So kind of like:

Check Duet ---> Pop Up Singer Value ----> OK?

That would be a heck of alot better than a text field for sure. I do think that access to the Duet checkbox/Duet Comment would be a simple solution for handling duets.

Too bad. I was gonna try and take a crack at it. lol

Re: First party- everything was smooth....

Resurrecting this for a sec... Question. Is it possible for one to add "Duet Comment" to what the singer sees in their "Tonight" section in the browser server? I'm looking through the code where I could play around with it, but I'm a little lost. My coding is horrifically out of date. lol If it's po...

Re: First party- everything was smooth....

I found it! Ok dave.. I'm sorry. I just went into the singer listed under the venue and could edit the Duet Value there.

That makes sense to me

Re: First party- everything was smooth....

Hmm... I see what you mean. Probably the last I would imagine. No way for the value to reset after the song is complete?

I think for the purpose in what it's used for tho, I would use what DuexExMachina uses in the Singer Nickname, and then change it back when the song is over.

Re: First party- everything was smooth....

I should clarify.. They're all editable in the Library... but I'm pretty sure these songs don't have their own SMS number lol
