thanks dave!!! Forgot about the fact that the xp in stalled is fresh and doesnt have the background workings my tower has.
kjams is working in virtualbox so far. Still a couple of things to try out yet (monitors, file directories, online stores, etc etc) but i will keep posted on progress.

kjams with linux/ubuntu 10.04
hey all, I'm trying to run kjams on a ubuntu 10.04 laptop (portability and only operating system). the install goes alright but when i try to run the program with wine 1.3.19 but nothing happens.tried using virtualbox OSE with xp but i get an error msg saying that the program is not configured ...
