BTW, I tried exporting with the pad movie border to 320x240 both on and off and I didn't really understand the benefits/drawbacks to using one or the other. Obviously the padding results in a black border, is that better for some reason? Oh, and the metadata works perfectly, exactly what I needed. T...

That's fantastic, now I just need to start exporting my 4000 songs and I'll be all set! Thanks for adding that, that'll be super helpful!

That sounds great, I probably wont use the auto playlist feature since I'll be syncing the videos on another computer than what I run kJams on, but I'll definitely look forward to the tagging. Being a developer, I'm sure you're already aware of AtomicParsley but is that some sort of option for your ...

Quicktime Export - iPod Metadata Please!

Hey Dave, I have one request that I could REALLY use because I would like to run some karaoke off of my iPod. I know that when you do a QuickTime export to iPod format you get a .m4v file as well as an .xml file. I'm not really sure where the .xml file comes in to play but what I would REALLY like t...

Explination

Okay, I would have to say one of the biggest features I would like to see would be the multiple video out. If nothing else, the ability to see the video on both my laptop screen and the output screen since there are some times when I can't see what the singer sees. Now, as far as the QuickTime play ...

Tempo is not working with the audio

Dave, for some reason the tempo is not working in the latest version (d41r30). It slows (or increases) the speed of the graphics, but not the sound. So, the graphics become unlinked from the music which is kind of annoying. Okay, I think that's about it.

It would be very helpful.
There is one way you can get kJams to work for you...just get a Mac. Personally, I hope Dave never develops kJams for Windows.

QuickTime exported files do not open

I'm not sure what the problem is, but the QuickTime files do not open after export and therefore won't work on my Video iPod. I click on a file, go to export to QuickTime then wait a couple of seconds. When I try to open the file I get the error: QuickTime cannot open the file: "Be Like That.mov" it...

Re: crash on startup: Fixed

Another question as i am new to karaoke: Do you know if karaoke-Tunes from the apple music-store (mp3-files?) are fully usable (+text) in kJams? First of all, the iTunes Music Store files will not display the graphics. They are not really karaoke songs, they are just MP3 files without the words on ...

Auto playing idle graphic or video clip.

A feature that would be very nice, especially when the night is slow, is to have an idle graphic (or video clip). What I mean is when kJams is not playing a song (or doing anything else) there could be a user specified JPEG image or QuickTime video clip that could just continually display until anot...

kJams wont open if its files aren't present.

This isn't a big deal, and I'm sure I'm the only user with the issue, but here it is...So, I have all of my kJams files (the kJams folder and my karaoke songs) on an external drive. Then, I have an alias to the kJams folder on my hard drive in my "Music" folder. So, when kJams launches, it reads dir...

Second video monitoring window

Okay, here is a request I have never posted but have found a few occations when it would have been useful. It would be nice if kJams had a second output window (besides the full screen one) which you could view on your monitor. So, for instance, if you are doing karaoke at location where you aren't ...

Crash when connected to network but no active internet.

Here's the problem I found, when I am connected to the network at one of the venues where I KJ and the internet is not active, kJams crashes immediatly on startup. Now, at this location I am using iSpot internet access so although I am connected to the network, I have to log in before I can actually...
