Re: itunes auto cross fade setup

I found it and I found the Python folder. What I saved is a text file, not a Python file like everything else in the Python folder.

Re: itunes auto cross fade setup

It was the crossfade that I changed. I meant the startup is the only one in the Python folder. I couldn't find the crossfade file so I couldn't find my duplicate that I edited. After I duplicated, edited and saved, it didn't show up in the Python folder and it didn't show up as an available choice. ...

Re: itunes auto cross fade setup

I'm pretty handy with a lot of things including software but playing with scripts kinda freaked me out for some reason. I looked on YouTube for video of how do to this with kJams and didn't find anything. With 2.0, I took the existing command, duplicated it (I have no Save As option), made the corre...

Re: itunes auto cross fade setup

Thank you very much for your help! I found a post also with your answer http://karaoke.kjams.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2235 When I 'Saved As' my new save didn't show up as a choice. I made the change in the iTunes_auto_crossfade and saved. This works better for me. Thank you for helping!!! - Scott

Re: itunes auto cross fade setup

I just updated to 2.0 and tried the automatic cross-fade feature. Very good! Is there a way for the song in iTunes to continue to play with volume down? If there is only 5 or 10 seconds of iTunes music playing between karaoke songs, the iTunes song which pauses when volume is down will play only the...

Re: Toggle for Preview pane

Hey everyone, I did not understand the initial question and so did not chime in on this one... There is so much to kJams that I still don't understand everything. What would have helped me on this one would have been if there was a YouTube video or something to see what you were really asking / tryi...

Re: Microphone Delay Issues

Ideally, you would be running each item to a separate channel in your mixer. An example could be: - Wireless Microphone #1 goes to channel 1. - Wireless Microphone #2 goes to channel 2. - Perhaps a wired mic for your goes to channel 3. - Your Laptop / MacBook Pro goes to it's own channel also, perha...

Re: I lost my small video monitor

Hi Dave, In the "Artwork" wiki section that you linked to, it says that eventually, we can put assign singers photos. I took this that between songs, it could show a picture of who is coming up next. There could be some ridiculous pictures that the crowd would love. Too much fun! Is this available o...

Re: Helping A Friend

Thank you for helping Bill with his start up problem.

I went out to his show and didn't know how to get that fixed so that is why I posted the crash log. Didn't know the procedure and he's all good to go for his Saturday event.

Thanks again!!!

Re: Helping A Friend

Could not get kJams to open all night. I tried the previous version, the current version again. I would crash on opening. We used my MacBook Pro for his show with the current version and it worked fine. Weird. I'm glad I was attending his show anyways. I'm glad he was able to contact me before I lef...

Song Request...

A favorite Rush song of mine is "Time Stand Still"

Haven't seen a karaoke version of this on line or in the Karaoke Store through kJams.

Does anyone have this? If so, what disc is it on so I can find it.

Thanks!

Re: Time left/to play

I was just going to ask for a "Time Remaining" and I see someone else was thinking of the same thing.

Looking forward to some of these great and useful new features someday. Thanks! :-)

Re: Finding Songs...

Wow! That's awesome! It's just a song that I know can go over SO WELL when I'm DJing Weddings. I don't do more than a few Karaoke shows each year but I just think that "Send Me On My Way" would be a huge hit anytime it's performed. If it were available, I'd certainly want it in my catalog. - Scott

Finding Songs...

This seemed the most appropriate place. I hope...

There are always songs that I just can't find.

Rusted Root - "Send Me On My Way" for example. Am I not trying hard enough? Do some of you have this song in your karaoke catalog?

If so, where did you find yours? Specific CD, etc.

Thanks!

Re: Audio lags behind video....

There is a feature in kJams called "Slipping". Here is a link to the explanation :-) http://karaoke.kjams.com/wiki/Slipping It allows you to "sync" the audio with the video. You can "slip" the video forward or backwards in increments of 1/10th of a second. It will remember this for that particular s...
