Once again Dave saves the day! Followed his instructions exactly and I am up and running. I don't know how he finds the time!
Thanks Dave!

Re: Crash on open
Hmm I am getting the same thing. It had worked perfectly before. I had an older version, and after it went through my library, it quit. So I installed the latest version, trashed the original version, it came up with a prompt that it was gonna ask for my password, but quit. I did a disk repair ...

Re: Changing kJams Music folder from laptop to external
Thanks much..just making sure. I do think one of my neighbors blew up in the process. But that's OK. Gotta take one for the kJams team I say.
I will either attempt the move this weekend or over Memorial Day Weekend with a pot full of coffee, or whatever comes in a bottle.
thanks!

Changing kJams Music folder from laptop to external
I have seen similar posts to what I need to do, but thought I would ask to make sure. I have a Mac Laptop G4 that runs kJams Pro perfectly. I named my folder kJams Music to hold all of my karaoke files, which is right next to my kJams Library folder. But I have added LOTS more karaoke songs and it ...

Can the audience text or wi-fi their song choices to Kjams?
HI, newbie here. I have to say I love how KJams is set up. Much easier sorting through songs this way instead of separate discs. I have thousands of songs that I have collected and rather than print lots of paper catalogs, can audience members "text" or use their iPhones or any other portable ...

Re: How to control Vocal Volume?
Thanks Dave. It is one awesome program that gives me lots of options. I may look to see how I might want to use this with either my Pro Tools HD interface or MOTU Traveler in the future.
Keep rocking in the free world.
(sorry Neil)

How to control Vocal Volume?
Just got my kJams Pro. It is neat that it can suppress the vocal, but what if I want volume control over that, instead of deleting it? It might be cool to have it in the background to help out the singer. And would I have to hit that control for every song?
thanks
