I tried to install the kJams burner on backup computer.
Backup did not accept burner serial #.
Do I need to buy a seperate burner pkg for the backup computer?

QuickTime Export
When exporting a KJAMS library song to a QuickTime MP4 format, does the MP4 retain the KJAMS key adjustment?

Re: Quicktime export error
Exporting started out with sporadic success, but then failed on every export attempt. I think I found the reason why ... see if you agree. Activated Kjams version 1.0.1b85 on a second computer using dual core processors with OS 10.6. All exports were successful! On the first computer(PPC based, OS 1...

Quicktime export error
On exporting songs from KJAMS to Qucktime, I get following error message on some songs. (eg)[There was an error encoding the song "Believe.mov":"Parameter Error".] This error is not encountered on all songs but on about 3 or 4 out of dozen I've randomly selected. My KJAMS version is 1.0.1b85 ...... ...

Re: MP3 import fidelity
Thanks for your inputs
But what happened I believe, is that the "hi-fi substituted" MP3's in the zip's actually did not play back.
Why?, because kJams was playing the non- hi fi files from the cache..... which I forgot to empty
Sounds good now!!

MP3 import fidelity
Recently added new song zip and on playback noticed that background vocals are almost lost in noise and clarity(and volume level). This is not new, i've encountered this loss frequently... almost all the time. Now, when I "unzip" the song and play the MP3 thru iTunes, every thing is very clear! Back...

Re: synch slipping
I think I understand what you're saying, but that's not what worries me. If I do what you say, then every song that I play has to be rewinded, becuse tne problem is if you synch only one(1) song, the entire kJams library becomes GLOBALLY synched when you use the keyboard shortcuts! If you use the co...

Re: synch slipping
let's say I want to slip a song whose nenu item synching-controls read: "global slip= 0.00 seconds" "global no slip" checked! "song no slip" checked! I slip the song forward, say 0.5 sec using the keyboard (option key+=). After the successful slipping, the synch-slipping menu item controls read: "gl...

Re: synch slipping
Yes, when I use the menu item synch control commands, the synching is as you say.
But when I use the keyboard shortcut control command keys, the result is as I stated in my initial post.
Maybe you can double check and maybe determine if I have a hang up somewhere. thnx

synch slipping
Does kJams remember the amount of synch slip that might be applied to a song? It seems that if I play other songs in the library, they are all out of sync after I slip synch the one song.. I notice that somehow the global sync amount is present on all songs although all other songs indicate that the...

Re: Playing from external drive
Tried what you suggested with a small # of songs and it worked. However, what I'm concerned about is it appears that kJams is saving the songs as part of its permanant memory. If this is true, there will be no memory left on my computer since I have a very limited remaining capacity. My desire is to...

Playing from external drive
Need some help in playing karaoke from an external drive. I read your documentation and related cautions but I do not understand some detail steps. You say "Alternately, if your music is already on an external hard drive, and you want to keep it there, just leave it there and add the root folder of ...
