Rotation Playlist Temp

This is the rotation playlist that the audience sees. On this list, the current singer is always at the top, and the list scrolls up when that singer is finished. It also wraps around when it gets to the end, so singers may appear more than once if they have more than one song in their Tonight list. This rotation playlist is maintained automatically for you, based on other playlists.

For example, let’s suppose you have three singers who are “here” for tonight: Joe with 6 songs, Judy with 4 songs, and Jane with 3 songs. The order in which they were added to your KJ Rotation list is Joe, Jane, Judy. While your KJ Rotation list simply shows Joe, Jane, Judy, the rotation that the audience sees looks like this:

If Joe, Judy and Jane have smart phones, they can connect to your server and control the contents and sequence of their Tonight list. They can add songs and arrange them in the order they want. These lists are then uploaded to you, and you control the order in which singers perform.

In case you’re wondering, you really don't have much control over this rotation list. Its contents depend on the contents of your KJ rotation list and each singer’s Tonight list.

• The Venue shows who is Here tonight. To add or remove singers, change their “Here” status on this list.
• The KJ Rotation list shows the sequence of singers, and this is where you make a change to the sequence.
• Each singer’s Tonight list shows the titles and sequence of the songs. Changes to songs or sequence of songs are made here by you or the singer. You can also change the sequence of songs via the KJ rotation list.
