using multalk_midi dvd disc

Hi,

I have a DVD karaoke disc that I haven't been able to use in kjams or istar. The disc is from Asia and called MULTAK_MIDI and it's a 7.63 GB UDF disc. It works on a friend's DVD-player-style karaoke machine.
The root directory has files named MULTAK.DA1 (900 MB), MULTAK.DA2, etc, and a VIDEO_TS folder.
I can run it under DVD Player, but I only get the video with no sound.

I'm actually using a disc image of the disc, but I have access to the original.

Is it possible to play this disc on a Mac?

not having access to the disc, i couldn't tell you.

In any case, you need to rip any DVD into QuickTime before kJams will play it.
