Authoring Karaoke files?

Post by rmanke »

I have a feeling that I know the answer to this question, but does kJams allow for the authoring or editing of the CD-G files?

I would like to edit the lyrics of a song.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

The answer to that question is highly classified.
Please email me directly, not in the forums.

Not the answer that I was expecting.

*Muses to self* Is there another software package in the wings?

CC

p.s. I have been "having a google" and can find no CD+G editing software for the Mac. There are one or two for the PC though. Sorry I could not be of more help.

lyrics and authoring

yes, it's irritating when they get the lyrics wrong. Or are you talking about doing a Weird Al-esque spoof ?

I'm interested in doing one from scratch... a fun song (IMHO) is Dire Straits' - The Bug which apparently does not yet exist for karaoke.

I may have the patience and detail-orientedness to do one from scratch...
