should work
Your old serial number should work with kJams. Things that can cause it to stop working:
new hard drive
new network (eg: switching from ethernet to airport)
new memory
different computer
if you reinstall your system it will revert to tryout, but your serial number should still work. When copy-pasting the SN, make sure you don't copy leading or trailing spaces or carriage returns.
If you've tried all this and it still doesn't work, email me not on the forums and i'll troubleshoot it for you.
