icon bounces on dock, then disappears

I've installed kJams on an old iMac running 10.3
I've installed LAME
When I try to run kJams, the icon bounces on the dock for a second and then disappears, with the program starting. Here's what it says in my console:

dyld: /Users/ozzy/Desktop/kJams Lite.app/Contents/MacOS/kJams Lite can't open library: /usr/lib/libstdc++.6.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

10.3.9 is the only supported 10.3 configuration.
