sync glitch - need help pinning this down

Hey all you cool cats and gals

there's a glitch that has been on-going but I can't seem to pin it down. It's been too infrequent to figure out yet... what's going on that leads to this?

play a song and the lyrics graphics are out of sync with the audio by a second or two. Doesn't sound like much, but as you can imagine, it's real distracting for the singer!

Start the song over, and all is well.

got any ideas? If it happens to you, try to note EXACTLY what you were doing at the time (use the space bar to play? double-click?) Full screen, other preferences?

The one that's bugging me is I can't remember if the graphics are AHEAD or BEHIND the music. Now, where are those darn CAR KEYS... ?!?

I think I got it. Cats and Cat-ettes, try it out if you like:

2 songs, same title, different manufacturers
already imported to kjams
never played before (?)
play 1st one, no problem
play 2nd one, the graphics lag audio by about a second

play either song again... no problems, including clearing the cache
... as if it's only the FIRST TIME you play a pair of songs with the same title
(not positive on this... I'm pretty sure I've played one or both before in a much earlier version of kJams Lite. Now I'm Pro d49r3)

General Pref's ON: Skip Silence, Show Messages
Apple AU pitch bending OFF
Video size 2, built-in monitor only
